Arben Malaj still remembers the dismissal in 2019 as a member of the Supervisory Council at the Bank of Albania with a bitter taste.
Invited to 'Frontline' on Report TV, Malaj said that Prime Minister Edi Rama behaved arrogantly with him.
" I have nothing personal with Rama, but the arrogant way he treated me and the arrogant departure from the board of BSH shows the great defects that Rama has as a leader. I do not feel longing for that time because I have not severed relations with the SP and its people ", he said.
There was also a comment about the speech he gave in Parliament at that time.
" I had responsibility and I never shook my head because I thought I better fulfill the trust given to me by the Albanians ," Malaj added.
He further categorically denied returning to politics.
" I have no political ambitions and I am satisfied with what I do today. When a door closes a gate opens, I did it after I got out of politics. Now I am making a book about pyramid schemes in Albania ", said the former minister.
