Edvin Kulluri, Secretary for Public Relations in the Democratic Party, reacted to Gazment Bardhi's statements regarding the start of talks between deputies for a broad coalition of the opposition.
Invited to "Studio Live" on Report TV, Kulluri said that the condition of the official DP for reuniting with the group of Bardhi and Rithemelim MPs is the departure of Sali Berisha, adhering to the decision of the resolution of December 18, 2021 approved in The National Assembly of Democrats.
"Anyone calling for unification should consider why we split up. Bardhi should ask this question to himself and not to DP. He is the one who violated the resolution of December 18, 2021 for Berisha's departure from PD and most likely he was the person who wrote the resolution. He has been very harsh towards Berisha, he has dealt personally with his family, 'Zeni's father', he has exceeded the measure of political rhetoric, while Basha and I have never done such a thing. Bardhi must remove Berisha from Re-establishment, stop his family members from being at the head of that group and create the conditions to form a discussion table", underlined Kulluri.
He further said that MP Gazment Bardhi now has to choose which side he belongs to, against the USA or the PD resolution on December 18, 2021, where Berisha's expulsion from the party was decided.
"Bardhi should either say sorry to Berisha that he thinks it is not right to declare him non-grata, to oppose the USA, or to oppose and expel Berisha. The latter has a status of "chairman of Reestablishment". Bardhi should do the other games where he has learned. This is men's chat, it doesn't change the page every 6 months. O withdraw the USA and Great Britain from non-women or Gaz Bardhi from the resolution of December 18 and start work on Re-establishment", added Kulluri.
On the other hand, the journalist Mentor Kikia described the idea of unification as a rhetoric used by all parties, but added that none of them had the courage to release pe to make a reunification possible.
"The idea of unification seems to be an old song now as it is a call made by all parties and none of them has had the courage to give up to go towards this union. I 100% agree with Kulluri when he says that there can be no union without eliminating the cause of division. But I see the union in PD as impossible. Today's state of agony, the longer it lasts, will lead to the death of the DP, even though this party has already disappeared", said Kikia.
According to him, the Democratic Party has already disappeared as a governing alternative since none of the parties have the cause and leadership to gain the support of the citizens.
"The PD is almost extinguished already. I am talking about the PD as a governing alternative. None of the parties has the right cause and leadership to force the citizens to support them. The 3 groups are at war with each other because who should be considered the opposition", the journalist added.
