Albania will open its embassy in Ukraine for the first time. The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has decreed the appointment of Ernal Filo as ambassador of Albania in Kiev.
On May 29, the Foreign Policy Committee held a hearing with Ernal Filo, who presented his program.
" The proposal to open for the first time the representative office of the Republic of Albania in Kiev and the actual situation in which Ukraine is located, show that our country is giving due importance to the countries and regions that today are at the center of the international diplomatic focus and that constitute an issue as critical as it is challenging for peace and security on the European continent ," he said.
