The spokesperson of the Democratic Party, Mirela Karabina, reacted to the news about the husband of the minister Delina Ibrahimaj, who a few months ago stabbed the General Director of the Credit Handling Agency.
Karabina said that the case has been reported to the Tirana Police, but the state institutions have remained silent.
She added that after the reaction of the minister and the acceptance of her husband's involvement in this scandal, the State Police should provide explanations and shed light on the motives of the event.
Karabina emphasizes that Rama should dismiss the minister or resign.
"An event on the scale of the scandal took place on the morning of November 20, 2023 in the middle of Tirana, but it was closed due to the involvement of the heads of several important state institutions. The General Director of the Credit Processing Agency (ATK) was threatened and shot by AI, the husband of minister Delina Ibrahimaj. The case was reported to the Tirana Police by EK citizens, but the state institutions remained silent.
The event was denounced by a media which not only made known to the public the serious event of a criminal offense that has as its object the life and health of a person, but also witnessed the scandal of the concealment of the event by the State Police.
After the denunciation in the media, Minister Ibrahimaj reacted and accepted the fact, but without giving explanations for the real reason why and how the event happened.
