After SPAK's request to the Assembly, for the arrest of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, the Council of Mandates will meet this afternoon.
It is known that the Council for Regulation and Mandates and Immunity will meet at 16:00, a meeting that will take place in the Presidency of the Assembly.
Three criminal charges have been filed against Arben Ahmetaj, passive corruption, money laundering and false declaration and concealment of assets. His arrest has been requested for these charges.
Together with the permission for the arrest, there is also the one for the personal control and of his mobile phones.
Earlier, SPAK operated with the control of two apartments, belonging to the partner of Mr. Ahmetaj in Hamallaj and a villa in the Palasa area that is thought to be owned by Ahmetaj's ex-wife. Both properties were seized by SPAK and he had a fight with the justice system opposing this control and seizure, especially for the apartment in Hamallaj where he lived with his roommate Erjola Hoxha.
