In the new statute of the Democratic Party, which is expected to be approved today during the work of the National Assembly, it is foreseen that Lulzim Basha will take the leadership of the parliamentary group.
Also, the statutory changes remove the powers of the General Secretary, causing the whole Assembly to be defined by the lecturer Rezart Prifti, as an organization only to get rid of Gazmend Bardhin.
The priest said that after lying to the democrats and citizens for 10 years that he would overthrow the ruling majority, Basha is now organizing a National Assembly and changing the PD statute just to hit Bardhi with letters.
"He held an assembly for Gaz Bardhin, he made a new statute for Gaz Bardhin, he made a mess and left the whole world for Gaz Bardhin, so all this was done for Gaz Bardhin, to remove Gaz Bardhin with letters, where from all the wings they don't have any papers", said the priest in Euroneses Albania.
But what is expected to be changed in the statute?
The statutory changes that are expected to be approved in the Assembly also affect the head of the DP parliamentary group, where according to the new statute, when the DP is not the governing majority, the party leader is also the head of the parliamentary group.
In this way, after the approval of the changes in the statute, Basha is expected to be the chairman of the DP, as well as the chairman of the parliamentary group.
Another change in the statute foresees the reduction of the powers of the general secretary.
In the document that is expected to be presented at the PD assembly, it is stated that in his absence, the documentation of the meetings of the Presidency can be done by a person commissioned by the Presidency.
