Gazment Bardhi has stopped for journalists, after the conclusion called by him, where 43 MPs of the opposition participated.
He showed part of the agenda for the new parliamentary session, while adding that the new election reform commission will be reconceived.
" It was a necessary, overdue meeting of the opposition MPs. Today, in the meeting with 43 deputies of the DP, of the Alliance for Change, we set a part of the agenda for the new parliamentary session. Our goal is free and fair elections. It has been decided as a work priority for all the opposition MPs, those who consider themselves MPs, continuing the work in the investigative commissions. It is unacceptable that the opposition, which has denounced the election massacre of May 14, does not advance a part of the interest of the opposition.
The first decision we took is undoubtedly the reconceptualization of the duties and composition of the election commission. We will present at the beginning of the session the establishment of three investigative commissions, for PPP concessions and health issues, the second issue is related to personal data of citizens, the issue of patron Nazis and suspicions of interference in the TIMS system, and thirdly we are familiar with given how public officials in conflict of interest make decisions to enrich family members and friends, and the commission will be focused on abuse of duties ", he further stated.
