Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha came out laughing after the meeting with the Gazment Bardhi group.
Berisha said that this meeting of the 43 MPs gave the date to Edi Rama.

Here were not the deputies of the "House of Freedom "who are staunch opponents, but my invitation is to every deputy who is determined to fight this regime, to join forces for a sure victory in the next elections. The very important decisions of the meeting will be announced by Mr. Bardhi. ", said Bardhi.
For the first time since the elections of April 25, most of the deputies of the Democratic Party have gathered at a common table.
The meeting was called by Gazment Bardhi who, in the introduction of his speech, said that he is convinced that the things that separate the democratic deputies from each other are smaller than what unites them.
The purpose of this joint table is the unification of the opposition action in the Parliament, where Bardhi said that the priority will be the Electoral Reform.
"The division of opinion on issues within the party should not distract us from the responsibility we have towards citizens, democrats and the opposition, therefore, while maintaining individual opinion on internal debates, I share the belief with the majority of you that this will not prevent us from unifying a stance of opposition action, starting with a common opposition agenda", said Bardhi.
