Democratic MP Jorida Tabaku, amid tensions in the Assembly, has asked to discuss the file of Arben Ahmetaj. Mentioning one of the phrases from the wiretapping between the former deputy/prime minister and Mirel Mërtiri, "congratulations PS Përmet", Tabaku said that this shows how the elections in Albania were led by two people currently wanted, Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri.

There is no discussion about the elections today when you look at the fact that the elections in this country since the SP was not in power, we are talking about the 2011 elections, were paid and stolen by these 3 businessmen in every area that Arben Ahmetaj went to.
There is no bigger scandal for the Albanian state than the investigative file that came to the Parliament. Today, anyone who was in the Investigative Commission for the incinerators who became the public advocate of the 3 people in search, but at the same time of the 3 people who should have been brought to justice today, should hang their heads and be ashamed! They should apologize to the Albanians for protecting the facade for the 430 million Euros that are missing from the state budget today!
Today, whoever attacked the DP in this battle that started in 2017, should be ashamed! They should also be ashamed of all the government machinery that they put against me, Ms. Dhurata çupi, Mr. Chestnut, Mr. Bushati, Mrs. Zhupa and everyone who stayed until the end in the Commission of Inquiry, we became your firing squads for your corruption and that of this government.
