Djinkuri stated that his mention is valid for political purposes and there is no evidence that shows illegality in his 2 trips with Zoto and Mërtiri.
"They want to use my name for political reasons. To tell you the truth, all the trips, only 2 that have appeared in the media, are official and have the relevant documentation. I don't have to take out papers, but my trips are declared, I didn't go for fun. My role as a minister has no legal violation. No one has come forward to say a violation of the law by me when I was a minister. Each minister is responsible for his attribute. The government is not a criminal organization, on the contrary. Do not do the criminal investigation as if we are investigating patient zero, it is about concrete cases.
I traveled with Ahmetaj because he was a minister and a colleague, and in these meetings you get information and you understand. When called, I will give explanations, in my duty I applied the law. Political and quasi-criminal charges have been weighing on me for years, it's not a crime to know people. It is very hot now and you are needed here," said Gjiknuri.
