
The Ministry of Education and Sports has reacted to the serious incident that happened at noon today where a student of the "Fan Noli" school lost his life.
In its statement, the Ministry of Education expressed its condolences to the victim's family and called on the police to investigate the incident immediately.
Despite the incident, the Ministry of Education claims that safety in schools and outside them has been and remains an absolute priority. Meanwhile, the cases of fights between young people in schools keep coming and increasing.
" We are deeply shocked by the tragic event that happened today on the street "Qemal Stafa", Tirana, where a conflict between three minors led to the loss of life of one of them, a student of the "Fan Noli" school.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family of the student who lost his life, while we wish the other student a speedy recovery. At the same time, we ask the law enforcement institutions to carry out an immediate clarification of all the circumstances of this event.
Safety in schools and outside them has been and will remain an absolute priority of cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior, the State Police, the Ministry of Education, the Local Government, the community and the whole society.
The Ministry of Education and Sports has continuously taken, and is implementing, concrete measures to guarantee that the teaching process, in all schools in Albania, is carried out in the safest, regular and standard way possible.
