Zef Brozi, the former head of the Court of Cassation in Albania who now lives and works in the United States of America, when asked by Shqiptarja.com, states that there are several issues of extraordinary importance that Albanians need to learn about the $6 million contract paid by Sali Berisha's Democratic Party to a lobbying company in the US.
" For this lobbying, says Brozi, - the main issues of great interest to the public are: 1) Who really pays these millions of dollars? 2) Is that money obtained illegally (corruption, money laundering, funding from Russia or foreign states and foundations that want destabilization and political influence in Albania? 3) Are SPAK and the FBI and other Albanian and foreign institutions seriously investigating the source of this money, as well as Saliu's payments to lawyers in England and France, or the other assets of the Berisha clan? ", Brozi continues.
He calls on the Albanian and international media and press to contribute to uncovering the truth about the illegal assets of Berisha and any government official, former government official or politician.
"With this lobbying," says Zef Brozi, "Berisha is doing another great damage to the Democratic Party."
" Honest Democrats and not Saliu's blind militants should not further support Berisha and his billionaire, anti-Western, anti-SPAK clan. I think that Albania, its politicians and rulers do not need or should spend money lobbying in America. Fortunately, America is a strong supporter of Albania and the Albanian nation without any lobbying ," Brozi concludes. /Shqiptarja.com
