The Secretary for Public Relations in DP, Edvin Kulluri, spoke about the elections that will be held on September 24 in Kukës.
He emphasized that the situation is problematic, but at least this time in Kukës, two candidates are not running.
He further said that Emri Vata has an advantage to win the elections while he advised him to make a positive campaign.
"Every municipality is important. The situation is still problematic, but it is better than in some municipalities where there were two candidates. Rexhmat's withdrawal is an advantage for Vata, to win. Kukësi Tropoja and Shkodra have been heavy blows for PD, but I wish it to recover. The elections showed that the Democrats, if there are good candidates, take the vote to the box. This is Vata's responsibility, to show that it is a good alternative. There is no reason why he should not achieve victory. You don't win elections just by opposing the government and negative campaigns. The opposition has the duty to make a positive campaign for what it offers to the citizens", said Kulluri for "Euronews Albania".
