The candidate of the DP-ASHM Coalition, Ilir Alimehmeti, in an interview with Ora News, stated that the process has major flaws and that the result so far can hardly be said to be expected.
Alimehmeti also criticized the law enforcement bodies that supervised the election process for not doing their job properly.
"Regarding the municipality of Vora, you have seen very well the denunciations and incidents that occurred yesterday, so there is a big discussion to be had here, I believe, by the institutions that should supervise the electoral process or at least have undertaken to do so, since it seems that this has not been achieved by them.
Electronic voting always presents a difficulty, especially for the elderly, so there is a technical problem in this regard.
But I thank them for the vote they have placed in me and I hope to be an important voice for them if the mandate is fulfilled.
We are in a dynamic process of counting votes, nothing has been completed. We are still far from the end for the mandates. The process must continue and not be blocked and be transparent. It can hardly be said that the result so far is expected. The process has major flaws. The Vora area has major flaws. It is not expected that in the capital region there will be situations where the law does not exist ," said Alimehmeti.
