Prime Minister Edi Rama's speech with Albanian immigrants in Greece will be held in Galatsi. Greek media reports that the rally will be held at Gatalsi stadium.
"The rally will take place in Galatsi where Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will address his compatriots.
According to the information transmitted by MEGA television, the rally will take place in the indoor stadium of the area. According to the same information, the permit was granted by the State Real Estate Company and the deal was closed by the private person who manages the Olympic facilities in Galatsi ," Greek media write.
The speech in Athens will be followed by corresponding visits to Milan on May 26, London on June 2 and Dusseldorf on June 16, while the tour is called "Proud of Albania".
We recall that, during the interview with the Greek media "protothema.gr", Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, referring to Rama's visit to Greece, said that "perhaps it is unnecessary", as he added that the government will neither stop it nor facilitate an event attended by Albanian Prime Minister Rama.
"It is not a visit, I would say, with bilateral characteristics. He comes, I understand, to talk to his countrymen. He has the right to do so. Beyond that, I think that this is also an option that in the current situation, in view of the European elections, seems quite unnecessary to me. The Greek government cannot, we are a democracy. We do not prohibit the right to assembly, which is protected by the constitution, so I do not attach so much importance to it ," said Mitsotakis.
For his part, Prime Minister Rama said that the rally has nothing to do with the European elections, nor with internal issues or narratives that Greek citizens promote.
