Politics has received another message from Washington that it cannot play with justice. While Meta and Berisha are attacking SPAK on a daily basis and the SP on the other side tries to intervene legally, the USA has made it clear that they are on the side of the Special Prosecutor's Office and that the judicial reform is not affected.
The message came from Colleen Hyland, Director of the Office for Southern and Central Europe at the US State Department. The latter is on a visit to Tirana and has held a meeting with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.
According to an embassy announcement, the DASH official stated that they support the Special Structure. She also said that justice reform should only go forward.

" Corruption is a big problem. Albania has great progress, due to SPAK which has done an extraordinary job. The work against corruption must be advanced. This is how they progressed to the EU. You must keep corruption under control and the various legal measures you make must be in line with the EU ," said Collen Hyland, Director of European Affairs at DASH, who was in Tirana today.
