Kosovo Police have ordered all MPs, media and those present in the Parliament building to leave, on the eve of the next constitutive session.

As the 42nd attempt to constitute the Kosovo Assembly was expected to take place today, a bomb alert was raised by the police, which led to the evacuation of all lawmakers and journalists.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti hastily left the Kosovo Parliament after the Police asked everyone to vacate the building, following a telephone threat.
Kurti did not speak to the media as he left.
Initially, the idea was to evacuate only the journalist staff from the interior premises, but this was later followed by the evacuation of the MPs.
The reasons for such an evacuation are still unknown.

Meanwhile, Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri told the media that he has requested the release of the Kosovo Parliament due to a threat, the circumstances of which are unknown.
But, according to some MPs, it is a matter of security and a possible threat.
"They gave us instructions to get out, because there is a possible threat. We don't know what is happening and they asked us to get out. The police told us about security issues," said Abelard Tahiri, a member of parliament for the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

Vlora Çitaku, a PDK MP, said that security asked them to leave the Parliament building, without providing any explanations.
"Apparently there was a threat of an attack or something similar. We don't have any exact information, they just told us to leave," Çitaku said.
PDK MP Ganimete Musliu also said that they do not know the reason, but that they were asked to leave the hall shortly before the start of the constitutive session.

"Come out, come out, there's something going on, so we came out," Musliu said curtly.
"Anything can get into the Assembly. Knowing very well the security and control system in the Assembly, where anyone enters and exits, I can believe that there could be something," she continued.
