The Serbs' plan to destabilize Kosovo has successfully failed. Today, the authorities faced a very difficult situation, as a well-organized and heavily armed group attempted to challenge law and order in Leposavic.

During the early hours of the morning, two trucks had blocked the road and a police patrol went to the area to take a closer look at the situation. But the police faced gunfire, causing one officer to lose his life. The victim is Afrim Bunjaku. Meanwhile, another was injured.

Then the armed group retreated and took refuge in the monastery of Banjska, where they had set up a base with heavy weapons.

The police surrounded them and the special forces went to the ground, which faced a barrage of bullets. Almost 12 hours of fighting took place and in the end the Kosovo police managed to suppress the revolt. Thanks to the snipers, 3 aggressors were killed and two others were wounded. Then the police intervened in the monastery and managed to arrest 6 people, including the 2 injured. The rest of the aggressors managed to escape to the nearby mountains taking advantage of the darkness and difficult terrain.
