The Office of the Specialized Prosecutor is carrying out a raid operation in the house of the former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Sylejman Selimi in the neighborhood "Qëndresa" in Veternik.
Christopher Bennett from the Office of the Special Prosecutor has confirmed to the Telegraph that the Office of the Special Prosecutor is conducting ongoing operations.
"The Office of the Special Prosecutor is conducting ongoing operations," Bennett said briefly.
In relation to this event, the acting chairman of the Organization of Veterans of the War of the Liberation Army of Kosovo (OVL UÇK), Faton Klinaku, has reacted in relation to the recent raids of the Special Court of The Hague.
"As is being reported in the media, the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor (ZPS) is conducting raids in Kosovo. One of them is in the house of the former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Sylejman Selimi. Even these raids that are happening today are just another spectacle on their part", he wrote on Facebook.
It has been reported in the media that the home of the former Minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuçi, was searched.
"No, there was no raid. There was no raid, I have a contact with them about the work I do there, but no raid, no police or anything else. I'm sorry that they published it as news", said Kuçi. He is engaged as an advisor in the defense team of Kadri Veseli, who is being tried in The Hague.
