The Anti-Corruption Task Force has notified the Kosovar Interior Minister Xelal Sveçla to stop payments to BKS, the value of which exceeds 700,000.00 euros...
In this announcement, as Pamphlet learned, the minister was informed that all the persons involved in the fraud scandal of the Government of Kosovo with false insurance contracts are being interviewed.
After the frauds that the head of the Kosovo Insurance Bureau (BKS), Sami Mazreku, did to the government with fake insurances, where hundreds of forged insurance contracts, as if they were made by immigrants, were sent to the Kosovo government for compensation, (and all this happened on the basis of the agreement that the government had reached with the BKS). The State of Kosovo finally "came to its senses" and is dealing with legal violations and corruption in the Insurance Bureau.
According to the agreement, which has now been repealed, "immigrants did not need to pay for border insurance when they entered Kosovo", as the same amount was compensated to the BKS from the state budget and taxpayers' money.
Taking advantage of this scheme, various officials have signed instead of immigrants, and about this and other violations by BKS, "Pamphlet" has reported in a series of articles.
However, the Government of Kosovo reacted at the time by changing the content of the agreement and this change provided that "immigrants should pay the insurance at the border and then be reimbursed by the Government".
This agreement did not suit the Kosovar Bureau and the Clan of Besarb Blakaj, chairman of the Administrative Council and Sami Mazrek, executive director, because they could not collect the income they wanted.
Now there is no Government-BKS agreement. The Anti-Corruption Task Force has informed the Kosovar Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla that payments should not be made to the BKS whose value is over 700,000.00 euros, since, as Pamphlet learns, all the persons involved in the fraud scandal of the Government of Kosovo with forged insurance forms are being interviewed.
All this noise and cacophony has resulted in the lack of communication between the government and the BKS, as well as the expectations of immigrants who are the backbone of the Kosovar economy.
The problem has reached the climax where the Albanian Minister of State Taulant Balla has asked the Government of Kosovo to take urgent action to solve this sensitive problem.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, together with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Albania, Taulant Balla, visited today the joint border crossing point in Vërmicë. They declared in front of the media that there will be a solution to the concerns of the immigrants immediately.
Taking insurance money from immigrants and forging it by BKS officials was also done under the pressure of firing women workers. Director Sami Mazreku dismissed 70 workers on the grounds of lack of budget, but a few months later he hired a larger number of workers./Pamphlet
