Currently, OLAF has seized 112 files and, in cooperation with EUROJUST, has investigated and interrogated the former director of AZHBR, Eranda Selmanaj, whom Frida Krifca appointed as her successor in October 2021, after she herself was appointed Minister of Agriculture.
We specify, that during the 4 years of Frida Krifca, Director of AZHBR, Eranda Selmanaj held the position of the chief of project evaluation - applications made by farmers; director of authorization and approval of grant payments; head of tenders and director of Internal Audit.
On March 23, 2023, just 3 days after OLAF and the German Government filed a complaint with SPAK, director Eranda Selmanaj resigned, while 10 days after leaving office, she was questioned by OLAF and EUROJUST agents, before whom she signed her cooperation as "repentant" and took the defense.
