The truth is revealed as the European Union discovered the abuses of funds going to the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development. Although Minister Frida Krifca tries to justify that the funds have not been stopped, but verifications are being made, in fact the truth is very different.
Speaking today in the Assembly, Krifca said only one truth. She admitted that representatives of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) in 2021 conducted an audit in AZHBR. The minister said that they never received the report, but there were surprises and the file went directly to SPAK.
But what really happened? A confidential source of the "Pamphlet" has shown what happened in February 2021.
On February 15, 2021, 5 representatives of OLAF suddenly landed at the offices of AZHBR and announced that they will conduct an audit. They have seized files, computers and even mobile phones, this after there were many complaints to their address that there were abuses of funds. They stayed there until February 19 and examined every document, file and data related to the distribution of IPARD funds.
The main suspicions at that time were directed at the staff of the legal and auditing offices. They have even officially and unofficially questioned many employees of AZHBR, on the information they had about the denunciations that various farmers have made regarding 15-20% of the disbursed values of the IPARD schemes that were claimed to have been requested/paid to senior officials in AZHBR.
They had a list of about 50 beneficiaries and according to them confirmed, but kept secret because the abusers were considered to be employees with very strong political support and connections.
The employees were especially asked about the political reports of the legal directorate, and that of the audit with the director of that time, Frida Krifca, today the Minister of Agriculture. The information provided by the employees, as well as that of some employees who were dismissed some time ago, on the connections and operation of the scheme, has been very useful in gaining a better understanding of the circumstances. They found that there were many individuals and agencies who had turned to intermediaries to receive the services of AZHBR. If we go back a few weeks later, a girl was arrested for extorting large sums of money from businessmen and farmers by promising funds from AZHBR.
So OLAF has evidence, documents, e-mails and everything else that shows that every fund was given in a clientelistic way and millions and millions are stolen. According to sources, the file is in SPAK and it remains to be seen if this prosecution will go to the "strawberry" minister. / Pamphlet
