A serious incident has occurred in the village of Paranë, Prizren, where it is suspected that a 20-year-old man was kidnapped by four people.
The incident was reported on January 24, 2026, at around 11:52, while Regional Investigation teams immediately went to the scene, after suspicions were raised that the victim had been kidnapped.
Sources from the investigative group report that the 20-year-old was sent for medical treatment to the Prizren Regional Hospital and was then questioned by investigators.
Meanwhile, the suspects were escorted to the Prizren Police Station, where they were questioned in the presence of defense lawyers. According to statements so far, it is suspected that the incident occurred due to a conflict over a girl. It is suspected that the young man who was kidnapped had communication through networks with a girl from Peja, which seems to have also brought about the reaction of 4 people.
By decision of the State Prosecutor, three of the suspects have been detained for 48 hours, while the juvenile suspect has been released. The arrested are Jashar Mamusha (21 years old), Husein Berisha (34 years old) and Faruk Berisha (37 years old).
During the investigative actions, material evidence was also seized, including: a Seat Arona car, four (4) phones, and one (1) electric shocker.
According to sources, two of the suspects are in custody, while the minor has been handed over to his family.
The incident is being handled by law enforcement agencies, while investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances.
