Kosovo has sent to Brussels the comments regarding the implementation of the Brussels and Ohrid Agreement. The Government of Kosovo announced that it has received confirmation from Brussels for the acceptance of comments and the implementation plan of the Agreements.
Kosovo expects the Serbian side to be constructive and not reject the Agreement. Political experts estimate that the dialogue process could be unblocked if the comments are taken into account.
The Government of Kosovo has sent within the deadline the comments to the European Union regarding the sequencing plan for the implementation of the agreement with Serbia. The Government of Kosovo, in a written response, showed some of the issues that were addressed in the seven-page document.
" Some of the issues addressed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo through the comments sent, are related to the full implementation of the Basic Agreement, in the entirety of all its articles and of course the acceptance of the agreement by the parties, taking into account the rejections of frequent, even public, of Serbia towards the Basic Agreement. Also, the need for not deviating, but respecting the principles of the agreement, was expressed, where an example is that of parallel progress in implementation, where one side takes one step and the other side another step ", says the Government of Kosovo, reports "Gazeta Express"
In these comments, according to the Government, arguments were also offered that Kosovo has been constructive in this process, while Serbia has repeatedly violated the articles of the agreement.
" The document offers, among other things, comments and arguments on the fact that the Kosovo side has fulfilled part of its obligations, while Serbia's response to this constructiveness on our part has been the continuous violations of the spirit and articles of agreement" , it is said, among other things.
