The Minister of Justice in Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has requested a more detailed investigation regarding the murder of Faton Hajrizi, the suspect for the murder of a Serbian policeman on the border between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to her, "the ethno-political use of the criminal act of killing a policeman in Lloznica by the Government of Serbia is unacceptable, deliberate and pre-prepared".

"Through the former spokesman of the party of Slobodan Milosevic (SPS), now its chairman and minister of internal affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, the news was given that the fugitive from prison in Kosovo, Faton Hajrizi, was convicted of several serious crimes criminal, he was killed.

The information these days was contradictory, so we cannot know for sure if he was killed at all and if so, was he killed in the territory of Serbia or the Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including other important and necessary details for investigation A wide and deep investigation is definitely needed to clarify the truth of this case", wrote Haxhiu.

She even says that the recent escapes from prisons should not be qualified as a coincidence, since according to her all the escapes are going towards Serbia, due to the guarantees of protection from the law.

"Information from our bodies suggests that at least in some cases, these escapes were created, organized, co-organized and facilitated by criminal groups connected to power structures in the territory of Serbia. This organization consists in giving a guarantee that for such persons the territory of Serbia, the criminal groups there, and certain levels of power, offer them protection from the criminal prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo", said Haxhiu.
According to her, the shield is not only given against non-extradition, but also from any informational cooperation with the justice bodies of the Republic of Kosovo.

"Such support is definitely intentional, organized and connected with the intention to damage the public, constitutional and legal order of the Republic of Kosovo", wrote Minister Haxhiu.

Meanwhile, he added that there is a risk of tensions and attacks in Kosovo, incited by Belgrade, which is exploiting this situation.

"On the other hand, the use of the act of the criminal murder of the policeman by the interior minister in Serbia as the basic impetus for legitimization to create the need for a cause of counter-attack against the Albanians and their institutions, or to create a circumstance of reconciliation with events incomparable in any dimension, it is completely unacceptable and intentional", said Haxhiu.
Condemning the act of killing the policeman on duty, the Minister of Justice in Kosovo said that a local and international investigation is necessary to investigate the systematic acts of inciting the crime, organizing and co-organizing the escape of prisoners, detainees and those wanted by justice in Kosovo, on the territory of Serbia, and the creation there of a protective environment against impunity and the criminal prosecution of criminals by the bodies of the Republic of Kosovo.
