The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano has confirmed in a press conference that Kurti and Vucic will have a series of individual meetings with European leaders.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, will hold separate meetings with the European leaders in Brussels.

The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, confirmed in a press conference that Kurti and Vucic will have a series of individual meetings with European leaders, but did not provide any other details.

"The meetings will be a reinforcement of what was said during Miroslav Lajcak's visit to Kosovo and Serbia during the weekend. Kurti and Vucic will have a series of individual meetings with European leaders, for which we will not give details now ", said Stano.

He described Thursday's meetings on the sidelines of the EU summit as support for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

" We expect both parties to return and fulfill their obligations without delay and to commit to the extension. There will be no high-level dialogue meetings, but only individual meetings with European leaders", Stano said.

The day before, Kurti responded positively to the request of the five emissaries for a meeting with the leaders of Germany, France, Italy and the President of the European Commission, on the sidelines of the European Council summit.

The meeting will take place within the framework of discussions initiated with the five emissaries during their visit to Kosovo on October 21, in which they proposed a new plan that included a more comprehensive package of comprehensive implementation of the Basic Agreement together with a draft proposed for the implementation of Article 7".

According to them, Kurti has expressed the agreement that this new plan will be the framework for continuing further discussions with the allied countries, USA, Germany, France and Italy.

" Kurti has expressed his agreement that this new plan is the framework for continuing further discussions with the allied states, the United States, Germany, France and Italy, which should provide a strong security component and also strengthen the perspective of membership in international organizations ", the prime minister's office said.

The Government also said that the agenda and details of the meeting in Brussels were not made known to Kurt.

" However, he is willing to be involved in substantive discussions, provided that they are in line with the principle of inclusiveness ," said the Prime Minister's office.

The two leaders are expected to meet separately with French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell.
