A session is being held in the Assembly of Kosovo in which the tensions in the north of the country and the kidnapping of 3 policemen by the Serbian forces are being discussed.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not appear in today's session, while PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi spoke about the kidnapping of 3 policemen, who demanded that Kurti answer for the act of aggression that Serbia committed against Kosovo.
He said that the priority should be to return the 3 policemen and guarantee their safety. He requested that Speaker Glauk Konjufca contact Kurti to report on the government's actions taken in this situation.
"The kidnapping of three Kosovo policemen is an act of aggression against our Republic. The violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity is unequivocal. At this moment, beyond everyone's attitudes and assessments, the priority of priorities should be the return of our policemen to Kosovo and to their families, guaranteeing their health and safety. Therefore, dear Speaker, I invite you, on behalf of the Assembly of Kosovo, to contact Prime Minister Kurti, so that we can invite him to come today to a special session to report on the government's actions that are being undertaken for the return of our policemen, but also for the security situation in general in the north of the country" - said Krasniqi.
