The envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, tomorrow, June 16, will hold a press conference on the latest developments in Kosovo and Serbia.
The conference is held from 15:00. There is still no information about what attitude Escobar will take towards the government of Albin Kurti. It will not be a surprise if the USA imposes sanctions on Kosovo, like the EU.
Asked if he had any communication with internationals, Kurti said today that he talked with DASH's special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, as well as with the American ambassador in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier.
"Last night I had a telephone conversation with both of them, also with the special emissary Escobar and Hovenier with whom we talked about security and I told them that KFOR should bring me information before the meeting of the Security Council, but no information! We went to the meeting with the information of the Republic of Kosovo that is clearly true," said Kurti.
On Tuesday, in North Mitrovica, the Kosovo police arrested the leader of "Civil Defense" Milun Millakovic, known as "Lune". While yesterday, three policemen were kidnapped by the special unit of Serbia.
