After the last crisis in the north of Kosovo, for the first time the leaders of the Serbian List have faced insults, hissing and calling "treason".
Disgruntled citizens have recently openly opposed the leaders of the main political force of the Serbs in Kosovo, and there have even been calls against Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, with whose support this political force was created 10 years ago.
During a full decade in power, Lista Serbe led numerous protests and even set up barricades in order to oppose the Kosovar authorities.
It all started on May 29, when the Serbs started protesting in front of the municipal buildings, to prevent Albanian mayors from going to work. That day, in Zveçan, there was a conflict between the Serbs and KFOR, despite the repeated calls of the Serbian List to accept the demands of the NATO military mission and to allow the evacuation of some members of the special unit of the Kosovo Police, who they were in armored vehicles, in the middle of the crowd.
Then, on June 13, some members of the Serbian community tried to physically attack the head of this party, Goran Rakiç. This happened after the arrest of Milun Milenkovic in North Mitrovica, whom the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo claims was one of the organizers of the attack on KFOR. Meanwhile, on the Telegram online platform, messages against the Serbian List are spreading recently.
In a video dated June 13, published on a channel of this network, called "Slavic Bear", the description says: "Serbs are starting an uprising against the Serbian List", and this was accompanied by the call: "The distribution of this video is mandatory".
