The President of the Republic of Kosovo has sent a telegram of condolences to the family of the renowned journalist and analyst, Artur Zheji, who passed away suddenly on August 23, 2025.
In her message, the President emphasizes that Zheji left behind a huge void in the public, media and intellectual life of the country, describing him as a courageous voice, a free thinker and a distinguished pen of Albanian journalism.
She also mentions Zheji's contribution to documenting and writing about the pain and destruction caused by Serbia's genocidal regime in Kosovo, underlining the importance of his media and intellectual legacy.
The President expressed her most sincere condolences to the family, friends and media community, expressing that the memory of Artur Zheji's life and work will remain eternal.
