The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, spoke today at the memorial meeting for the policeman killed in the north, Afrim Bunjaku.
Bunjaku was killed during a terrorist attack in the village of Banjské in Zveçan.
"Since yesterday, nothing can be the same. The facts came out right before our eyes, before the international community, before everyone who has the courage and will to see the truth of the region in which we live", said Kurti.
Kurti said that Kosovo acted prudently and in accordance with its western nature.
"Today, in front of Afrim Bunjak's portrait and in front of his heroic work, we bow with honor and respect, as well as pledge ourselves for justice and care", said Kurti.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has expressed his condolences for the death of the martyr, Afrim Bunjaku. For 22 years, he has served as part of the uniforms of the Kosovo police, deserving the title of hero of the Republic of Kosovo.
" This professional and measured reaction of Kosovo yesterday was in accordance with the very nature of our democratic and Western state. Bunjaku was married and they were parents of 3 children. 22 years spent in the Kosovo police, years of service and sacrifices that make Afrim Bunjaku a hero of Kosovo. Today we bow with respect and pledge to do justice. Glory to sergeant Afrim Bunjak, hero of the Republic of Kosovo." - said Kurti.
