The special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, will visit Pristina today, where he will talk with the deputy prime minister, Besnik Bislimi, Kosovo's chief negotiator in the Brussels dialogue.
The day before, he was in Belgrade, where he met with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, with whom, among other things, he discussed the next steps in the normalization of relations with Kosovo.
According to the spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, the EU's special representative for the dialogue, is making these visits to Belgrade and Pristina in an effort to advance the dialogue.
"Talks with President Vucic in Belgrade and with the Kosovar counterparts in Pristina are part of his mandate, are part of his ongoing work and efforts in terms of helping both sides to advance the dialogue", Stano emphasized.
