The Kosovo Presidency has condemned the declarations of war recently made by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

In a post on the social network "X", the Presidency of Kosovo says that "Vučić's reckless calls for war are a dangerous echo of the darkest chapters of recent history."
" Despite years of tireless American and European engagement to pave the way for lasting peace, Vučić is showing the world that he has not chosen the path of reconciliation. Instead of turning the page, Vučić and his regime are flirting again with the same destructive fantasies that once destroyed countless innocent lives ," the Presidency's response states.
The highest state institution has recalled Serbia's past and compared Vučić to Slobodan Milošević, mentioning the wars in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the war in Kosovo.
" Now, Vučić seems to believe he can revive the same poisonous formula: fomenting conflict, gambling with lives and betting that bloodshed will preserve his rule. But history is clear and ruthless. Milošević failed, and so will Vučić ," the presidency added.
The perspective of the Kosovo Presidency further states that "war is not a tool of leadership."
" On the other hand, Kosovo has chosen peace. Peace, which we will defend at all costs ," the reaction concludes.
