Kosovo and Albania have signed the 13 agreements of the two governments that should have been signed on June 14.

During the last two years, two meetings of Governments were held in which 41 governmental, inter-ministerial and inter-institutional agreements were signed. This time, even without a meeting of the two Governments, 13 agreements were signed, covering cooperation in various fields, from security and justice to education and culture.

In order to create a free space for the interaction of people, ideas, capital and other common areas, as well as to ensure a better perspective for the citizens of the two countries, the agreement on the mutual recognition of the lawyer profession and of the mediator.

In order to develop cooperation in the field of agriculture, promotion of trade and facilitation of control procedures, an agreement has been concluded for the facilitation of control procedures for products of non-animal origin.

Another agreement, within the framework of cooperation, exchange of information, experiences and technology, is that of cooperation in the field of inspections, where the donation of the e-inspection portal by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Kosovo is foreseen. .

In addition, the Ministers of the Interior of our two countries have also signed the joint statement of intent, jointly committing to the intensification of cooperation in the field of security, mainly focusing on the facilitation of cross-border circulation and the advancement of information exchange through the Management of Information systems. Border, the advancement of the Joint Center for Integrated Border Management, as well as the advancement of cooperation in preventing and fighting crime.

Today's agreements, together with those signed in the two meetings held in the last two years between the governments, bring our countries and citizens closer to each other and reiterate the strengthening of the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania.
