Edward P. Joseph, a lecturer at the "John Hopkins" University in the United States of America, in an interview for Demostat.rs, described as reckless the actions of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti in the North.
"It is clear that Kurti was reckless in his operational movements in the North, defiant when it came to the international community and provocative when it came to his fellow citizens, the Kosovo Serbs. "Not only the arrests, but also the treatment of the arrested Serbs, deserve investigation," he said.
"It is interesting that Kurti is harshly criticized by the Albanians for his approach to the USA and the EU, the north, and even to the Serbs of Kosovo. The opposition and a large part of the media and civil society are angry with Kurt, not only because of the internal divisions, but also because of his harshness towards the Kosovo Serbs and his stance in the North.
Joseph, says that politics in Kosovo is not a competition of "who can be tougher towards the Serbs".
"On the contrary, the opposition accuses Kurti of needlessly alienating the USA and the EU, because of the North. In last week's unforgivable fight in the parliament of Kosovo, we see the strong hostility that exists in the opposition", he added.
