The Special Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that the property of Faruk Mujka, chief executive officer of the Hydro-Economic Enterprise Board "Ibër-Lepenci", and another official was raided.
In the announcement made to the media, it is stated that, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo, a search warrant was issued today by the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department, in two locations, the property of two suspects with the initials FM and HM
Under the supervision of the Special Prosecutor's Office, the Kosovo Police, the Special Investigations Unit, has raided these two locations, the property of the two suspects. During the raid in one location, among other things, the amount of money of sixty thousand (60,000.00) euros was found and seized.
" The Special Prosecutor's Office announces that there is a reasonable suspicion that the defendants FM and HM, as official persons, have intentionally used their official duties or authority with the aim of obtaining illegal financial benefits for themselves or others, have exceeded their powers official and have not respected their duties and responsibilities to exercise their function based on the law ", the announcement states.
The properties of Hysen Muzilukaj, adviser to the Minister of Agriculture, were also raided. At the time when corruption is suspected, Muzilukaj was the director of Cadastre and Geodesy in Mitrovica.
