The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has reacted regarding the kidnapping of three police officers within the territory of Kosovo.
In a post on the social network "Faecebook", she said that this action shows that Serbia shows that it is not interested in peace and stability, but in the destabilization of Kosovo and the entire region.
"The kidnapping of three police officers within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo is aggression on the part of Serbia. This act proves once again that Serbia is not interested in peace and stability in the region, but in destabilizing Kosovo and the entire region.
Today's act proves that Serbia continues to act with the logic of the past, whose hegemonic tendencies have caused terrible crimes and many victims. The Kosovo Police has shown commitment and determination to maintain order and law for all citizens without distinction, so such an act requires a strong reaction and unified action of the international community against Serbia's tendency to destabilize the region.
The police officers must be released immediately and without any conditions! Kosovo's institutions will not give up their commitment to the rule of law, as well as their commitment to long-term peace and stability! ", she writes.
