PDK MP Xhavit Haliti has stated that if the government will not reflect, then the path they will follow is the protests.
Haliti expressed that in this situation it is important that we use the opportunities to do what is best for Kosovo and in relation to the international community.
" We as a party are discussing the measures taken after the sanctions from the EU, but as the opposition, I have not seen that we can build a common strategy, but because of these policies, our mistakes and the common citizen are suffering. The important thing is to use our options on what and how we should do it.
The opposition should leave their grudges with Mr. Kurti, and he should understand that when the opposition is the government, since it is the one that really controls the government, but it is not in a favorable position, but we must make a program regarding what can we do and if the government does not reflect, we can use the protests and the no-confidence motion can be used, but at this moment I do not believe that we can achieve such a thing ", said Haliti.
Meanwhile, regarding the role of the president, Haliti has emphasized that its direction remains unclear as it changes from time to time.
Also, the deputy of the PDK emphasized that the messages of the former American president will be strong and will bring reflection.
" Osmani sometimes gives signs different from the government but again after a few hours he changes his position again, the power of the presidency in this situation is small as it does not have the power to do anything regarding the development of negotiations because it is defined by the constitution role of the prime minister. The moment they imposed sanctions on us is the moment to reflect, first Kurti and then all of us. it already takes a long time to gain the trust of the Westerners in the citizens. Kosovo is the most European country with a soul and the most pro-American.
