Lista Serbe reacted after the explosion that happened in the early hours of the morning in North Mitrovica. Through a post on social networks, Lista Serbe has condemned the incident and claims that this was done intentionally to justify the increased presence of special armed forces on the streets of Mitrovica.
The Serbian List has asked KFOR and EULEX to strengthen their presence in the north of Kosovo, especially in the north of Mitrovica.
" On behalf of the Serbian people, we strongly condemn the incident that happened last night when unknown people threw the most likely shocking bomb near the settlement of Tre Solitera in the north of Mitrovica and caused the upset of our citizens. We are convinced that this was done intentionally to justify the increased presence of special armed forces and armored vehicles that last night were on the streets of Kosovska Mitrovica after this incident and scared our citizens. Throwing firecrackers or similar pyrotechnics is not a crime in itself, but what worries us is that the falsification of such incidents aims to create an alibi for the presence of Kurti's special forces in Serbian environments, and the ongoing repression of our people, as well as baseless arrests.
We inform the public that even in the case of the alleged discovery of weapons in a vehicle and alleged bombs dropped in the municipality facility, it is interesting that this shocking bomb was dropped in the area that for weeks was again under the complete control of the special units of judge. Therefore, we repeat the request to KFOR and EULEX to strengthen their presence in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, especially in Kosovska Mitrovica in order to prevent these fabricated incidents, which we repeat, the Kurti regime skillfully uses as an alibi to justify the presence of para-police units, the harassment of the Serbian people and the arrest of Serbs ," Lista Serbe wrote on Facebook.
