The Border Police in Kosovo have seized a large quantity of explosives during a routine check.
Customs officials selected a van-type vehicle for inspection, which was sent to the second line for detailed inspection, within the framework of inter-institutional cooperation with the Border Police.
During questioning, the driver of the van stated that he did not possess any goods to declare.
However, during the search, a large quantity of explosives was found, placed in bags and packages, weighing around 300 kilograms, which were hidden in the trunk of the vehicle and camouflaged with fishing equipment.
The explosive has been seized while an investigation into the incident has been launched.
