The Kosovo Police has announced that traffic will be temporarily blocked on the Pristina-Gjilan road. This is because of a protest announced by the Serbs which is expected to start at 11:30.
"Kosovo Police, in order to carry out the announced protest, which will be held today in Graqanica, starting from 11:30 until the end of the protest, will redirect the traffic for vehicles traveling from Pristina to Gjilan and vice versa , since the main road in Graqanica will not be passable for traffic until the end of the protest", the announcement states.
For the third day in a row, there are protests in Graçanica against the arrest of Dragisha Milenkovic, the Serb suspected of war crimes in Kosovo. For Milenkovic, the Kosovo authorities have provided evidence that during the war in Kosovo, as a prison guard in Pristina, he exercised torture, physical and psychological violence against Albanian prisoners.
