A few hours before Liridona Ademaj was killed, the suspect in the case of organizing the murder of his wife, Naim Murseli had met with the suspect Kushtrim Kokalla, telling him "today this work must be done", referring to Ademaj's murder.

This meeting happened after a meeting about a week before the night of the murder, where Murseli had told Kokalla about "the marital problems he is having with the deceased." "Kokalla had tried to give a solution to Murseli, saying 'I will solve this matter,'" according to the Kosovar media.
"Naim Murseli told the defendant Kushtrim about his marital problems with the deceased Liridona Murseli, the defendant Kushtrim told him 'I will solve this matter' and in the meantime they agreed on a staged accident", the Prosecution file states . Thus, the suspects staged a robbery, which later resulted in the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
Kushtrim Kokalla, Naim Murseli together with Granit Plava met, where Plava told the suspects that he "deals with everything."
After this meeting, Naim Murseli asked Kushtrim Kokalla for the phone number of Granit Plava, who gave it to him.
According to the file, Murseli had told Kokalla that he will arrange a meeting with the murderer, who in this case, according to the prosecution, is suspected to be Granit Plava. According to the request for setting the measure of detention, Naim Murseli, in order to kill his wife, agreed with the defendant Granit Plava to carry out this act.
Naim Murseli had secured the weapon and equipped the killer with weapons and staged a robbery, which took place on Wednesday, November 29 of this year at around 8:25 p.m. on "Dalip Alshiqi" street.
According to the file, when Naim Murseli with his wife and two children were in their car, the suspect Granit Plava suddenly appeared in front of the car with a mask on his head and a gun in his hand, where according to the preliminary agreement, the defendant Naim Murseli and the children got out of the car and left from the scene while Liridona Murseli remained in the car.
She had not managed to get out of the car, as it is suspected that she was shot in the neck with a bullet, remaining dead on the spot.
The entire staging, according to the prosecution's file, was made after a promise of around 30,000 euros that Murseli made to Plava for committing the murder.
Naim Murselin is charged with the criminal offense of aggravated murder in complicity, while Plava is charged with the criminal offense of aggravated murder and possession of a weapon without a permit, while Kushtrim Kokalla is charged with the criminal offense of aggravated murder.
