
Lawyer Ahmet Ahmeti had said that Naim Murseli did not commit the criminal offense in the place, time and manner as described in the prosecution file and is not involved in the murder.
Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kreshnik Kollaka were left in prison today, after being accused of murdering Liridona Ademaj Murseli.
Granit Plava together with his lawyer Skender Gojani did not oppose the appointment of detention requested by the Prosecutor's Office.
According to the court decision, lawyer Gojani stated in the session that due to the sensitivity of the case and the security of the suspect Plava, the defense does not oppose the request.
"Taking into account the sensitivity of the case, the security of the defendant's life and the degree of danger, we as a defense at this stage of the procedure are not against the prosecutor's request for the appointment of a detention measure."
While the suspect Granit Plava supported what his lawyer said. Meanwhile, the defense of the suspect Kushtrim Kokalla with the authorized lawyer Ndec Dodaj, left the issue of detention to the discretion of the court. According to lawyer Dodaj, in today's session he said that the evidence presented by the Prosecutor's Office is very generalized and the conditions listed for the appointment of detention are unsubstantiated.
This position of the lawyer was supported by the suspect Kokalla himself. According to the Prosecutor's Office, this request is based on the evidence so far, among which are the video CDs and the scene.
The suspect Murseli and his lawyer Ahmet Ahmeti also appeared in court. Murseli said that he did not run away from the scene and was in danger himself.
"I didn't run away from the scene, I was even in danger myself and I asked for help at the same time until the police arrived" - the suspect is said to have said according to the court's decision.
