
The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina has revealed details about the armed conflict that took place in the early hours of Saturday in a nightclub in the capital of Pristina.
According to the prosecutor's office, 37-year-old Kastriot Ramadani died in the hospital from the armed clash between several people as a result of gunshot wounds, and seven other people were injured.
That's why 13 other people who have suffered bodily injuries such as broken windows or being hit with objects have sought medical help.
"On 04.08.2023 in the evening hours, the guardian prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina was informed by the Kosovo Police that on the street 'Rexhep Luci' in Pristina, respectively in the bar 'Bon Vivant', there were gunshots . Upon receiving the information, the state prosecutor, together with the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, has established that as a result of the shooting, there are injured persons
It has been established that 7 people were injured by the firearm, where one of them died as a result of the injuries received at the University Clinical Center of Prishtina. While 13 other people have suffered bodily injuries from scratches on the windows or from other things. All have asked for medical help", the press release of the prosecutor's office says.
It is also reported that one of the persons suspected of murder is on the run, while all the persons involved are reported to have a criminal past.
"The prosecutor has described the case in question as 'Aggravated murder' Article 173, 'Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons' Article 366 and 'Participation in beatings' Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo", announced the prosecution .
Suspects for the murder of 39-year-old Kastriot Ramadani are Dukagjin Nikolaj, a person with a criminal record in the field of drug trafficking, wanted by the FBI.
The other suspects are Andi Pajaziti, who is under arrest in the hospital, as well as Hysni Geci and Gëzim Zakuti, also under arrest.
