Gunfire in Kosovo, two people injured

Gunshots were reported yesterday evening in Podujeva, while police have arrested two people.

The police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, said that at around 8:30 PM, the police were informed of gunshots on Zahir Pajaziti Street.

She said that police units immediately went to the scene and confirmed that two people were injured.

It is reported that the two injured have been sent for medical treatment, while the police have launched an investigation to clarify the causes and circumstances of the conflict.

"Regarding this case, which has been classified as attempted murder, the police have arrested two suspects," the police spokeswoman added.
