The lawyer from Kosovo, Tom Gashi, has stated that the perpetrators of the murder of Liridona Ademaj acted as a criminal organization, given that 3 people were aware of what was going to happen.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he said that Naimi spoke Swedish in a coded language at the moment the car with the killers pulled up in front of him and called on the children to get out of the car, leaving only Liridona inside.
Gashi also said that the Police's suspicions about Liridona's husband, Naim, as being involved in the murder began on the first day, but only after the testimony of the murderer, they were able to arrest him.
"As for the extradition of Naimi for the murder of his wife, Sweden has no right since the crime took place on the territory of Kosovo. Everyone is talking but the real motive of the murder is not known. One of the money tracks is the receipt of a staggering amount of money, of 20 million euros.
It could be one of the motives because Liridona's life was insured and if she was not caught, Naimi would receive the benefit. But it was said that this amount is not correct, since the amount is up to 1 million euros that he could benefit from the insurance. This happened after the manifestation of the holiest day of us Albanians, after November 28, and was presented as a robbery. It's strange how a car with so much ease got ahead of him.
The person who drove the car so easily stopped, spoke in Swedish for the children to get out, in coded language I wanted to say, and they left Liridona alone on the right side of the car.
And Naim got out of the car very easily with his children, since everything was staged. Seeing that the robbers shot when Naimi was not in the car, the police suspected, but did not come to a direct conclusion, since the incident was serious. The main fact about Naim is the confession of the main killer. They acted as a criminal organization. At least 3 people knew that Liridona will be killed on a certain day, by certain people", said Gashi.
