In honor of the 150th anniversary of the birth and the 90th anniversary of the fall of the hero Hasan Prishtina, his bust was inaugurated today in Pristina.
Present at this event were the descendants of the Albanian hero, Gjergj Kastroti-Skënderbeu, Loris Kastrioti 2, grandson of Ismail Qemali, Qemal Vlora, great-grandson of Isa Boletini, Gazmend Boletini, etc.
The grandson of Hasan Prishtina, Mehmet Prishtina, said that today marks the 150th anniversary of the birth and the 90th anniversary of the murder of the hero, Hasan Prishtina.
According to him, today's activities were held in these centers, Tirana, Skopje, Thessaloniki, Diber, etc.
" The 150th anniversary of the birth and the 90th anniversary of the assassination of the eighth prime minister of Albania, the national hero Hasan Prishtina, the 'Hasan Prishtina' foundation has organized 2023 as the year of Hasan Prishtina. Today's activities were held in these centers, Tirana, Skopje, Thessaloniki, Dibër, as well as in many other places where our colossus Hasan Prishtina worked. The bust of the hero Hasan Prishtina was inaugurated in Dibër, today we are inaugurating this bust in Pristina, and to close this jubilee year with the inauguration in Kukës and not by chance where the remains of Hasan Prishtina were laid to rest, where they were repatriated in 1977 from Thessaloniki in Kukës ", said Prishtina.
Even Skenderbeu's successor, Loris Kastrioti 2, said that today is being celebrated as a very important day because, as he said, "we are remembering where we came from".
Meanwhile, the grandson of Ismail Qemal, Qemal Vlora said that he feels very happy to be present at the unveiling of the bust of the hero, Hasan Prishtina.
