Local elections, PDK rushes to declare victory in most municipalities

The Democratic Party has declared that it has won the local elections and is in the runoff in most municipalities.

" I am pleased to confirm that PDK is the winner of these elections. PDK has won the most municipalities without a runoff and is the party with the most municipalities in the runoff ," declared Vlora Çitaku at a press conference after the close of voting.

She also said that their candidate for mayor of Pristina, Uran Ismaili, is in the runoff, although polls are showing him in third place.
