Albano Bogdo again commented on the joke he made three years ago about Beatrix Ramosaj on the "Albano Show" show on Vizion Plus, during an interview on "UëTëFë Show".
Asked if he would apologize to the singer or expect an apology from her, he stated that he felt relieved when he learned that her mother won her battle with cancer and emphasized that the public had misunderstood his humor.
"Beatrix is a very good, excellent girl. She has been on the shows I have worked on several times, she has been on 'Apartamenti' 2-3 times, she has been on 'Klanifornia' once, I think. I was very happy to see her on Instagram, her mother was sick, my heart ached when she moved that bell. That joke was not about Beatrix at all, people have lost the essence, it was a joke about young singers who have 2-3 years in their career saying 'I'm leaving music now'. It was a joke about her brother," Bogdo said.
Bogdo explained that he had not intended to put Beatrix down and recalled that during the time she was on "Big Brother VIP Albania 1" he had publicly defended her relationship with Donald Veshaj.
"If it seemed like I punched down (attacked/mocked), that was not my intention, to punch down someone, especially a woman. Especially a woman who, about 2 years before I punched her, probably, everyone was punching her down, I was punching her up. There was an Olsi Bylyku [show], I appeared in an interview and he asked me about the same thing, then Beatrix was on Big Brother and I said 'leave this nonsense, if they are together, they are together' [with Donald]."
He emphasized that he appreciates the singer and that the apology is valid on a human level, not artistically.
"I really like Beatrix, if you want to know the truth, and she has always seemed to me a very promising girl and a very charming, very kind person. I apologize in the human sense, not in the sense... I have not made an artistic mistake."
The reactions started after an episode where, while mocking Alban Ramosaj and Fero's departure from music, Bogdo introduced Alban as the guy who ***ed Donald's sister on Big Brother.
In comments on social media, many have criticized the actor for the excessive joke he made on a television show, although he said at the opening of the first episode that this is his show and he says whatever he wants.
