Following his arrest last Saturday (July 5) by Swiss police at Zurich airport, a detention order has been requested for the well-known Albanian rapper Noizy.
According to the Albanian-language Swiss media outlet Le Canton27.ch, his arrest was made by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office for "Serious Violent Crimes", which announced that the 38-year-old is accused of several criminal offenses.
But after almost a week, it seems that things have changed in favor of the Albanian rapper.
"The court for coercive measures had ordered the detention of the person you mentioned, but in the meantime the Prosecutor's Office was able to release him from detention," Erich Wenzinger, spokesperson for the Office of the High Public Prosecutor and the Department of Justice and Home Affairs, told the Albanian-language Swiss newspaper Le Canton27.ch today.
For his part, Noizy has announced his return to concerts. His first since the incident will be in southern Albania on Saturday.
